In September 2007 Helen Belot resigned from the Helen Belot Sekhem Association taking her name and her rights to the Sekhem® Copyrights and Trademarks with her. This hit UK and EU practitioners in particular as from 29th February 2008 they could no longer legally use the name Sekhem® for their work. A meeting was called on the 11th day of the 11th month when 11 UK Sekhem Masters met in Edinburgh to discuss possible ways of going forward when all proceded smoothly, productively and harmoniously. One of the Masters shared that while channelling he had repeatedly received the symbol of a twelve-pointed gold star.  Many Masters in attendance could identify with the importance of stars at this time, and the name and the healing modality SourceSTAR was born. A steering group was formed, and work to rewrite the training manuals and set up an Association to provide ongoing support and regulation for Practitioners began.

The SourceSTAR Association was since inaugurated in June and, although membership is not compulsory in order for suitably qualified therapists to use SourceSTAR, it is hoped that many will recognise the benefits and protection offered by an association in this climate involving the regulation of complementary therapies. 

Although things may have been different in the past, these days the energy of SourceSTAR is not connected to any religion, but to spirituality, for this energy will build on whatever 'God' means to you. There is only one Source of all energy, but SourceSTAR comes to us via the  star system Sirius to Lemuria, Atlantis and Egypt.

As people struggle in the upheaval to adapt to the new energies that have heralded the begining of this new Age of Aquarius, it may seem unbelievable that the signs in the heavens indicate a time of great change and unity.  A time for dualities to mix, differences to resolve, and for renewal and unification. It is no surprise therefore that SourceSTAR should emerge at this time to assist and guide us at this challenging and exciting time.

We can look forward to the unconditional healing and love that is SourceSTAR playing a significant part in the healing and development of mankind, the Earth and the Universe.
